Summary:
In Sarah Thornhill - the third and final book in the series including The Secret River, and The Lieutenant - Kate Grenville takes us back to the time when England was expelling their criminals to Australia. Unknown to Sarah, her father was one such criminal. Sarah was always taught not to ask about the past and she is oblivious to her father's true ways and that he's built himself up into a prominent station on the blood of Aboriginal people. Sarah has focused herself on marrying her childhood sweetheart, Jack. But the Thornhill family has an ugly dark secret that could ruin their lives and tear Sarah and Jack apart.
